POSTER
The poster was designed as a way to advertise the animation and make it look interesting to audiences - during the pre-production of the animation I created a couple of initial designs, and it was not until I finished the full animation that the final poster design was created.
Initial Poster Designs
Whilst creating designs for Rafferty, I also began developing a poster idea to display during my pitch.
I developed the idea using Adobe Photoshop.
Once the design for Rafferty was finalised, I then recreated the same poster idea again - this was still during the pre-production stage.
The second design of this poster idea was slightly different, displaying a different background and the animations title. This design was firstly traditionally drawn and then scanned into Photoshop to be digitally enhanced.
Final Poster Designs
The final poster design for 'Monday's Special: The Untapped Goldmine' was created after the animation was complete. This poster design is very different from the first initial design - this design does not give away the full story, simply showing the main character holding a fish finger.
I produced various versions of this poster, each one varying in brightness and with slight colour changes:
