STORYBOARD
As part of the pre-production stage, I produced a beatboard, storyboard and colour script in order to support the development of my animation.
Storyboards provide detailed imagery and directions on how you want the animation to flow - it tells the story through the main images of each scene.
Original Beatboard
This initial beatboard was designed for the pitch of my story. The characters are not fully developed and the story is not completely finalised:
Storyboard
This was the finalised storyboard - at this stage, the characters were finalised along with the environments. The storyboard is detailed and provides direction on camera angles, audio and the characters actions.
Colour Script
The colour script simply provides an insight into what the colour palette of the overall animation will look like - there is not a lot of detail on the colour script and no directions.
